A quick and easy warm salad recipe to satisfy your hunger with a healthy dose of protein and green what-nots! 🙂 A warm salad is sort of like a stir fry, but without the carb (rice, noodles,etc.)

Jerk Seasoned Warm Veggie Salad With Tahini Miso Dressing
Ingredients
For the Dressing
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp tamari soy sauce
- 1 extra large garlic cloves, or 2 small-medium cloves
- 1/2 tsp raw miso
For the pan/warm stuff
- 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
- Olive oil to coat the pan
- 1/2 can chickpeas, rinsed
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 a bunch of kale, ripped with stems removed
- 3/4 cup dandelion greens, ripped up
Raw stuff
- 2 cups raw greens
- Micro greens or sprouts for garnish
Instructions
- Combine all dressing ingredients – set aside. (until mostly blended/mixed up)
- Add the olive oil to the frying pan, turn on the burner, etc.
- When the pan is ready to go, add the carrots. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Then add the kale. Cook for 2-5 minutes.
- Now the chickpeas. 3-5 minutes. Add 1 tbsp (or 1/2) jerk seasoning.
- Lastly, the dandelion greens, for 2-3 minutes. Add remaining jerk seasoning.
- While that’s cooking, combine the raw ingredients in a bowl. Set some (or all) of the micro greens aside for garnish.
- Once the dandelion is a bit less fibrous (ours was extremely rough and fibrous), take off heat.
- Combine the dressing and warm ingredients in a bowl, saving a little dressing if desired (for raw stuff)
- From there, its all you. I personally just threw the raw stuff in the bowl, mixed and served. You may more the type to put the raw stuff in your bowl/on your plate, so you decide! 🙂
